My name is Kay and my husband is Vic. We started the business in 1972, and were called The Odd Job Couple, doing exactly that – odd jobs – this soon developed into Cleaning Services. I took a course on Cleaning and passed on all aspects of this subject, and I am a Member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science – MBICSc. Our son Kevin when he left school also did a course at Salisbury College to attain his knowledge of the subject.
By 1985 we were doing Contract work for the Borough Council, Solicitors, Builders, Estate Agents and Private Landlords. Cleaning houses, Offices, Pubs and Shops, and of course for the general public, and have gained a reputation as Honest, Reliable and knowledgeable in our work and at sensible prices.
We Clear and Clean Houses, Sheds and Garages etc. We are the Original ‘Swindon’s Grime Busters’ – nothing is too dirty, grim or cluttered – we will ‘Sort it Out’.
Social Services often have need of our services, and recomend us to all of their departments.
In the last few years we have
extended our services to include Garden work. We have a lady – Helen- who is an experienced Gardener that has joined our team, and we do Grass cutting, Pruning of Trees and Shrubs and Landscaping. We do regular work for the Council and our other customers. In this we also Clear Gardens of Rubbish, sheds and outbuildings. Mending and erecting Fences,
Sheds, and laying Decking. We have a small Digger to enable us to dig out and clear difficult areas.
We hold a Waste Licence and are usually cheaper than a Skip.
If you are looking to ‘downsize’ or need a few household items moving we can do this as well for you. We do Small Removals, along with our other Services. No reasonable distance is refused (anywhere in mainland Britian) ask us for an Estimate.
All our Family have worked for us, and with us, before moving on to do work of their choices, but gaining work ethics and experience to carry forward with them. Our youngest Grand children are following on the Tradition.
